This equipment has been designed
to identify on live networks the link between Low Voltage
(LV) customers and MV/LV transformer, feeder and phase.
A large problem for utilities is the lack of good customer
connectivity data, and this information is of key importance
for managing distribution networks effectively. On smart
grids it is imperative to have an up-to-date electric
model reflected on GIS, nevertheless any hope of achieving
automation and reducing outage duration will be lost.
Once loaded on GIS, more precise electric grid calculations
can be made to improve quality of supply: transformer
phase and feeder load balance, voltage drop between
transformer and subscriber, preventive maintenance task
planning, etc.

In order to cope with this
need Ariadna ILF6 identifies the link between LV customers
and MV/LV transformer-feeder-phase in a fast, easy and
reliable way.
Ariadna ILF6 includes a Phase Identifier and a Feeder
identifier on a single tool, and is the only equipment
on the market that has this functionality.
The equipment also works as a trouble shooting tool
when installing PLC communicated smart meters. It lets
the user know the path PLC signals must follow to properly
communicate data.

FEATURES:
« Works on live networks, without de-energizing
the line »
« Three phases and up to 6 feeders can be
identified in a few seconds »
« Proved efficiency in lines of more than
1 km »
« Central and Line Unit communicate with each
other by means of coded messages through the distribution
network. This way the use of radio or other communication
extra equipment is avoided »
« Usable by a single operator »
« Operational for all kinds of Low Voltage
network configurations, up to
480 V between phases, 50 or 60 Hz, with coupled
and/or ringed lines »
« Plug and Play. Contains what
is needed to start working, without any additional
adjustment or programming » |
