This
equipment has been designed to identify on live networks
the link between Low Voltage (LV) customers and MV/LV
transformer and phase.
A large problem for utilities is the lack of good customer
connectivity data, and this information is of key importance
for managing distribution networks effectively. On smart
grids it is imperative to have an up-to-date electric
model reflected on GIS, nevertheless any hope of achieving
automation and reducing outage duration will be lost.
|
Once
loaded on GIS, more precise electric grid calculations
can be made to improve quality of supply: transformer
phase load balance, voltage drop between transformer and
subscriber, preventive maintenance task planning, etc.
In order to cope with this need Ariadna IF3 identifies
the link between LV customers and MV/LV transformer-phase
in a fast, easy and reliable way.
|
Central
Unit IF3 CU
Works without de-energizing the line, so electrical
supply is kept throughout the identification process.
Central Unit (UC) is connected to transformer LV
side, and injects phase codes throughout the LV
network.
|
Line
Unit IF3 LU
In order to cope with this need
Line Unit (LU) is connected to the
LV customer side, and after a few seconds shows
subscribers connectivity information (phase)
on a LCD display.
Plug and Play. Contains what is needed
to start working, without any additional adjustment
or programming.

FEATURES:
« Works on live networks, without de-energizing
the line »
« Three phases can be identified in a few
seconds »
« Central and Line Unit communicate by means
of coded messages through the distribution network.
This way the use of radio or other extra communication
equipment is avoided »
« Usable by a single operator »
« Operational for all kinds of Low Voltage
network configurations, up to 480 V between phases,
50 or 60 Hz, with coupled and/or ringed lines »
« Plug and Play. Contains what
is needed to start working, without any additional
adjustment or programming »
